Stocky alternative for Shopify: compare your next purchasing workflow

Replenio vs. Shopify admin, Prediko, and EasyScan
Stocky is no longer available for inventory management. Its replacement does not have to cover every possible inventory task: start with the purchasing, supplier, receiving, and reporting work your team actually uses.

Choose by the work you need to keep
For purchasing and receipt-based costing: Replenio
Replenio combines supplier records, emailed POs, barcode receiving, automatic reorder drafts, and cost updates. Weighted average and value-based landed cost are included on Free; Pro adds FIFO and dated cost history.
For a native workflow: Shopify admin and POS
Start with Shopify if its purchase orders, supplier records, transfers, and counting workflows meet your needs. Sidekick can help plan and create POs. Check whether you also need automated cost updates or a dedicated procurement app.
For broader planning: Prediko
Evaluate Prediko if demand planning, replenishment, raw materials, or inventory across stores are central to your operation. Its published pricing scales with store revenue.
For scanning and warehouse tasks: EasyScan
EasyScan combines barcode operations with purchasing and forecasting on its higher plans. Compare the plan that includes the tasks you need, rather than its entry-level label-printing price.
Check the details that matter to your team
Test partial receipts, supplier terms and minimums, multiple suppliers per product, returns, supplier portals, inventory valuation, and accounting integrations. A feature name alone does not tell you whether the workflow fits.
Moving from Stocky to Replenio
Allow time to review your files and reconcile the imported records. Setup depends on the exports available, product identifiers, and the amount of missing supplier information.
1. Save your available exports
Download completed purchase-order reports, stocktake history, and cost reports while read-only access is available. Keep original copies. Use the preservation checklist to choose the right report.
2. Import suppliers and purchase history
Use a saved suppliers CSV for available contact details and the Purchase order items report for dated line-item costs. A summary with one row per order cannot provide the same product detail.
3. Review product links and settings
Check matched products and suppliers. Restore missing lead times, minimum order quantities, and reorder points from supplier agreements or your own records. Do not assume those fields are in every export.
4. Test a new receipt
Create a small purchase order, record a delivery, and check stock and costs in Shopify. Enable reorder automation after checking supplier links and thresholds.
What the Stocky import can recover
The line-item purchase-order report can provide supplier names, product identifiers, costs, and dates. Replenio uses the available fields to build supplier links and a dated purchase-cost history. Missing or ambiguous fields need review.
In a test export on August 20, 2026, Stocky also provided Suppliers → CSV. That file contained supplier details but no product-to-supplier mapping. Shopify’s current migration guide says suppliers cannot be exported, so we cannot promise that this option remains available during read-only access. If you already have the file, keep it.
Imported historical costs are kept separate from current stock valuation. They record past purchase prices; they do not reconstruct every historical receipt, sale, or Stocky valuation. Products and current inventory quantities are read from Shopify.

- Shopify says Stocky stopped supporting inventory management on August 31, 2026, with read-only access to export data for at least 90 days afterward. Check your available reports and save the files you need.

- Replenio has a Free plan with unlimited purchase orders, SKUs, and locations, plus weighted-average and landed costing. Pro is $14.99 per month and adds FIFO, dated cost history, gross-profit reporting, and other advanced features.
- Can Replenio import my suppliers and cost history?
- Replenio supports saved Stocky supplier and cost files and line-item purchase-order reports. The result depends on which fields your files contain and whether products can be matched. Review the import before relying on it.
- Can I take my time over the switch?
- The Free plan has no time limit. Save your Stocky files while access is available, then review and import them in stages.
- What if some fields are missing?
- Keep the original files and use supplier agreements, invoices, or other records to fill the gaps. A purchase-order summary cannot replace a line-item export, and the import cannot recover information that is absent from your records.
